Hi guys. My school recently told me that I have to take a second year of fine arts to graduate. I am considering taking AP Music Theory because it is the only fine arts that won’t bring down my GPA and it sounds interesting. I know this varies considerably but how hard is the class at your school? If I don’t have any music experience, will I die in this class or will it be possible for me to succeed in it? Also, would a review book (Barron’s) be sufficient for the exam/class? I am planning on studying the material over the summer.
