In order to receive this award, is it necessary to have completed 8 AP exams by the end of your junior grade?

will they mind if you finish it in may of your senior year?
(i want to put it into my college app)

-Thanks.

If you want to put it in your app, then yes they muse all be done by the end of junior year. You can still receive it after senior year though, but by then it'll just be for bragging rights.

Does it even help you that much on college admissions anyways (assuming you get it by end of junior year)

well technically if you get it in senior year there aren't any benefits rightt..

Yeah, you can't put the award on your application unless you've won it before the due date, since colleges won't take your word for it that you plan on getting 4's and 5's on your exams senior year.

No i mean will it help if you already HAVE it by the time you apply?

With the exception of California, National Scholars by grade 11 end
are in the 5-15 student range for every state.

Obviously it will be a distinguishing achievement

Darn by the end of this year (junior) i will have taken 7 ap exams.

me too indianbasketball
well do you think we should take another exam (self-study)
just to get the award?
is this award that important/ worth it ??

I already got too much on my plate. No way i am going to SELF-Study an Ap. The ap with the class is hard enough. Urg should have taken an ap frosh year or 3 aps soph year.
