If you put down an online course for AP on your college app, would they accept that as an additional course, or would you have to mention it elsewhere (such as an extracurricular, etc)?
Or if your school doesn’t offer APs, should you just not take any online?
That depends on what mechanism you’re taking the course on. Is it through a site like Coursera? Is it through a virtual school? You have to see the accreditation of the place you’re taking the course.
So I assume it can count if the site is associated with a school board or state curriculum, but not if it’s one of those free registration ones?
