AP or CLEP ?

<p>Hello,</p>

<p>I have been going through this rough phase of deciding whether I should stick with CLEP or wait for 1 year & sit for the AP.
The problem is I want to apply for Fall 2012, whose deadline is this December 2011, but the AP's will be held in May 2012.
I can take the CLEP whenever I want & both literally serves the same purpose i.e advance credits.</p>

<p>So I want to know that which looks better on the admission application CLEP or AP ?</p>

<p>I was at a Davidson information session once and commented to the Adcom that I found it interesting that Davidson accepted CLEP credit (this was written in the College Board guide to Davidson). The Adcom looked at me strangely and asked, “what’s CLEP?”</p>
