<p>Hi guys, I am currently taking normal chemistry at my school right now, but I also want to take the Chem Subject Test. I am considering taking a chem course from BYU Online or CTY Online(leaning towards BYU). </p>
<p>Does the Chem Subject Test test take material from Honors or from AP?</p>
<p>I've heard that the Subject Test is between an AP and an Honors level. Is this accurate?</p>
<p>Would just self studying be an option?</p>

<p>I personally think AP is the best prep for a subject test as after I took the AP world exam I took the world history subject test and got an 800.</p>
<p>Likewise I only got to honors biology and got a 700 on Bio E</p>
<p>My daughter took the SAT II Chemistry exam in October just a few days after finishing the CTY Online Chemistry Honors course that you’ve mentioned. She found the course to be helpful and scored a 780. Good luck to you!</p>
