AP Peer Tutor

My D just got asked to be a peer tutor (not a TA) for an AP class her senior year. She wasn’t expecting that, and very few get asked. She would have to drop a class to do that, and the only class she could drop would be her 4th year of Drama. She loves that class, and thought going through the full 4 years would also look good on her apps (but not the main reason).

She is stuck, because she is honored to be asked, so she needs a deciding factor, which will be what will look better for college (as she is happy to do either). AP Peer tutor, or sticking it through that 4th year of Drama? She’s a creative person, wanting to go into advertising or something along those lines. I realize this is drama we are talking about, but it’s still important to her to decide. Not sure if that matters, but I’ll throw it in. I’ll also throw in that this AP teacher will be the one she asks to write her letter of rec.

Wouldn’t make a difference. I would have her stick with drama as she loves it.
The main thing is GPA/SAT/ACT and the rigor of her classes.
AP Tutoring might be a tiny bit of leadership? But drama is a fine EC (I assume she is involved in plays at the school?) It would also be a hit to her social life if she is friends with the drama kids.
