They should have one of those. XD

Seriously though..there is a huge demand for it and it's something I would take.

yeah!! collegeboard should quit adding more obscure foreign languages and concentrate on expanding humanities and sciences

like...AP Linear Algebra
AP Astronomy
AP Geology?
...

AP Astronomy! That would be incredible...

No offence to the CB, but I don't see why they have Foreign Languages at all... (well, except maybe Latin.) Almost all universities have their own testing protocals for determining where a student falls in their language program. In fact, I would guess that, as incredibly impressive as doing well on a language exam is, they would be alsmot impossible to get credit for.

spark:

many schools, including Stanford, provide language credits for AP scores. Moreover, a strong AP score may allow a student to fulfill a college's foreign language requirement (while not necessarily providing college credits).

don't most unis offer language credit for ap?

I thought it was if you wanted to continue in the language, then you'd have to take the uni's own exam.

How bout AP Gym =P

AP Sleeping...

i can sleep for 4357 hours, and get a 5 lol

anyway, philosophy sometimes is really bll****ing for a long time

o.O

AP Philosophy is needed. Definitely. I wouldn't mind astronomy either. These are the things that actually interest and intrigue me. It strikes me as strange that CB should go for, as some of you said, languages. Languages already have a set standard in most places and have standardized tests...Ah well.

Yeah, many universities give the same credit for a 5 as a 650+ on an SAT 2, and a greater variety or AP courses would be wonderfull.

odd that they offer Japanese but not Philosophy, a MUCH more common major in college

The only thing that would concern me is that having so many different exams would probably raise the cost of each exam. I can hardly afford them as it is.

But yeah... AP Gym lol... as long as it doesn't contain a rope climbing section, i'd sooo get a 5.
