***AP Physics 1: Algebra Based (2016-2017)***

Who’s ready to take major L’s?

my score has been trash overall though

went from 35%, to 50%, to 75% on MC tests

frq’s are a whole nother story…(L’s everywhere)

I took the international version (military overseas) this afternoon. Much easier than the 2015 practice test that has been released to AP teachers. Hope the US version is as easy!

@GeometryForLife HAHA this is y u don’t take the AP Physics 1 exam

I had the form E exam and the MC was pretty average but soke of the FRQs were very strange (I swear one was physics 2 concepts that were “forced” to be explained to become physics 1 concepts if that makes sense). What did you guys think?

I had form O and what the flippity floppity heck. I’ll admit I studied the least for this, but it was so much harder for me than expected. I’ll be happy with a 3 at this point.

That test was scarily easy. I’m sure the 5s this year won’t be so generous.

Anyone else with form O think that the FRQs were all easy except for that wave one? I had no idea on that one

I had form O and I thought the first part was pretty straightforward but I’m really unsure about the second half od the wave one

I had form O. Not trying to sound arrogant but I genuinely thought this test was easier than any of the previous years. I did the released 2015 and 2016 frq, and they were much more difficult than this one.

i had form O:

MC was pretty decent

FRQ: was harder for me, (maybe nerves), i got all of the first 3, a bit of 4, and everything from mid4 - end of 5 wrong.

5 was stupid, since i doubt there will be partial credit

Did anyone else have form E??? I am pretty disappointed because now I cannot order my FRQ booklet. What did you think of the viscous oil question?

Yup. Definitely took an L on this.

After finishing MC, I thought I could scrape a 4… But alas, the FRQ was a hot mess

I had O and honestly I thought MCs were decently hard but the FRQ was SO EASY. I basically knew answers to all questions except maybe the last one. I feel pretty confident. But as stated before, the easiness may end up having a pretty harsh curve… lets see

I took form O. I got stumped on a few MC questions, but overall, I think I did well. As for the FRQ, it was extremely easy. The experimental design was pretty straightforward, and #5 was not that hard either, honestly. Wasn’t sure on the first part on it though lol :((. I think I did well overall. Seemed way easier than expected.

I found the MC surprisingly easy compared to the practice problems I did. I didn’t find the FRQ as easy as some of you did, but it was certainly not as hard as I thought it would be. I definitely got at least half of each one right.

Does anybody know when the college board will release the scoring guidelines for the Exam this year?

I am referring to the Free-Response Questions.

early or mid June, but just ask your teacher about them.

The frq questions have been released, if anyone was wondering.
