AP Physics 1 and 2?

I’m a junior taking honors algebra-based physics in school and I was looking into taking an AP test for physics. My school doesn’t offer AP Physics 1, 2, or C, so I would be self-studying the parts my teacher missed. I haven’t taken calculus yet, but my grades in the algebra-based physics class are very good. I want to major in something related to molecular biology.

My question is, should I self-study AP Physics 1 and 2? Would it look good on my college application (completely STEM based)?

Okay, so I have taken AP Physics 1 and this year 2. I can attest that THESE ARE NOT FOR SELF STUDY. sorry for the caps but these tests are to test conceptual understanding of very complex and unintuitive concepts. go through the book and see if you can understand, or khan academy. unless it us your true passion, getting a subpar score will not help you
