I know it may be too early to start thinking this way, but I wanted to know what physics class I should take in high school that would give me somewhat of a foundation to prepare for the MCAT? Is the material learned in AP Physics C the same as AP Physics 1, the only difference being the use of calculus?
1 and 2 cover a somewhat broader range of topics than C. 1 and 2 are more closely aligned with typical physics-for-biology-majors-and-pre-meds courses in colleges in terms of material covered (though some colleges use calculus in those courses), but you will need to take physics in college anyway as a pre-med. If your college major is physics or engineering, you will need to take a calculus-based physics sequence suitable for those majors.
