Hey guys,
So I’m taking AP Physics 1 this year (as my first year of physics) and am was wondering the correlation with the SAT Subject Test (I’m taking C senior year). As Physics 1 is only half of B, I was wondering if I would only know half the of the material for the SAT subject test after completing the course, or would 1 adequately prepare me for the SAT.]
Thanks guys

Good question I would also like to know.

You would not be adequately prepared for the SAT subject test. You would also need to learn thermodynamics, optics, waves, modern physics, and some electricity and magnetism.

@human997 So do you know if the AP Physics 2 curriculum would cover that too?

I think that you would be prepared for the SAT Physics if you took both physics 1 and 2. Combined, they would cover all the material that was on the old physics b, which is the same material on the SAT.

@human997 Thanks! Sucks that I would have to learn a whole another curriculum though

Lol I’m taking honors physics and taking the SAT II Physics…will I be prepared if I self-study?
