Okay so the AP Physics have me slightly confused. I took AP physics 1 this year, along with Honors Precalculus. Would taking Physics 2 or Physics C (Mechanics) along with AP Calc AB be more beneficial? I will have to take either course online. So that is a factor. Thanks guys!
If you are strong in math go for C b/c it’s Calculus-based but, if you’re not stick to 2 b/c it’s Algebra-based. Think about your AP load as well, if it’s pretty hefty go for 2 instead of C b/c it isn’t as difficult.
@HaableVaurimn what would you consider a hefty schedule? to put things into perspective, this year I took AP Chem, APUSH, AP Physics, AP Lang, and honors precalc.
Next year I’m planning on taking AP Calc AB, AP lit, AP gov, and AP Physics (C- Mech?).
I was hoping my classes wouldn’t be as stressful as this year, specifically with my physics course being online. Do you think that’s a manageable schedule if im still making A’s in all my classes this year?
Btw- I absolutely love math. I hate how conceptual AP physics 1 is, so I was figuring Physics C might be a little more math based.
Four is manageable, hefty would be 6+. Since math is your thing, I’d go for C but, you still need to be able to apply the concepts you learn to problems.
