Sorry for another thread about “senior scheduling.” So I’m going to be a senior next year and basically the situation is:
In school:
- AP Calculus AB
- AP Computer Science
- AP US Government/AP Comparative Government
- Organic Chemistry (H)
- AP English Literature (or AICE English Lit, but I’m leaning towards AP)
Outside of Highschool:
Dual Enroll Spanish 1120 and 1121 Fall/Spring
AP Macro Online
Anyways, I have one left over class for my actual schedule. I’m taking AP Physics 1 and am basically getting low 90s each quarter and on the midterm. I wanted to continue with physics but I’m not sure if I should just go into 2 or if I should take C. I know C is likely the most difficult AP and the teacher at my school is really good (and therefore the class is not lax). The same teacher teaches 2.
On the other hand my math teacher this year is also really good (and he actually makes class enjoyable, which is unusal for me when it comes to math) and he teaches AP Stats. I would like to take another class with him next year since he is fairly lax but still a good teacher.
I’m basically stuck between those three classes. I still will need to have time after school (will get off at 1pm due to dual enrollment) for college apps, managing a club, a part-time job, and going to the gym. I’m not sure if I am being too ambitious with my course load though.
I’m taking six AP/AICE’s this year in case that helps with anything.
Any kind of advice or information you have to give would be greatly appreciated and considered.
