AP Physics and BA/MD

How important is the AP Physics grade to the BA/MD programs?
The main reason I am asking is becuase I want to cancel the test, but not sure if the programs want to see physics on my transcript.

It really depends a lot on the program you are applying to. Some programs don't even look at AP grades such as the Brooklyn College BA/MD program whereas others clearly do. If you're freaking out because you think you got a 4 or a 3, I'd say don't worry too much. I think it might look bad if you cancel.

I didn't take AP Physics and am currently at BU's 7-year program. AP Physics isn't a requirement for these programs, so don't worry about it.

do I need to take AP Physic C test (instead of Physic B) in order to stand out for the program?

nope; there are several kids who never took ap in my program, including myself.

Actually, I feel like I need to add something else. In terms of "standing out" via academics, it's gonna be kind of impossible; everyone that applies to these programs have great scores and grades, and so, you can't really get a leg up academically. What makes you stand out, however, will be your extracurricular activities, teacher recs, and essay.

thank you! wonder if you can post your stats so I can get more clear picture... I am an incoming 9th grader only...:-)
