AP Physics B advice

My anxiety over taking this class is so intense. I haven't decided if I want to take the exam... some people say the class is easy and some say it's hard. I've never been good at science and actually found chem to be hard. People told me if I wasn't a chemistry person I'd be more of a physics one.

I have the PR book but past vectors, i have no idea what I am reading. Should I get a tutor to get familiarized with the material before September? I'm fine with all my other AP classes except for this one and calc.

does anyone have advice for doing well in the class?

I would try a tutor. Or before that, maybe look online. I know a lot of teachers post lesson plans online, and if you can’t understand the book, maybe you can understand their powerpoints/notes.

I had troubles with Chemistry as well, but I found Physics to be pretty easy. I think Physics comes easier if you’re good at math, too.

Thanks for the advice  after doing summer work for Calc I found a lot of the PR stuff to be easier and I really like how the book lays it out. My mom wants me to take it slow and see if the class is that difficult before I shell money out for a tutor, though

I looked online and I think the teacher’s actually going a little slower than normal for an AP class but that’s from last year. It looks like she teaches things like SI and reviews math concepts before going into things like kinematics or dynamics and whatnot.

I eased a lot of my anxiety by slowly going through the book and taking notes. It seems a lot easier than I thought but classes are always easier in the beginning. Hopefully a headstart will get me what I need for an A in the class!
