I am going to be a junior next year and I will be enrolled in Algebra II/Trig. I was wondering if it is possible to succeed in AP physics B without any trigonometry experience? I currently have a 90 average in honors chem. Thank you.

You’ll do fine if you pick up the trig basics before hand.

• SOH CAH TOA
• sine, cosine, and tangent relationships
• sine and cosine graphs (OPTIONAL)
• unit circle (OPTIONAL)

Thank you! I guess I will try to learn basic trig over the summer.

No probelm! It’s not confusing or hard. I’m sure you’ll do fine.

Yup. Physics actually makes you better at trig. so alg ii trig will be a breeze.

As a current junior in ap physics B and honors Algebra 2 I’m doing just fine… And I’m pretty sure you’ll do just fine too! Just pay attention in the class. You might have to teach yourself some simple trig stuff every now and thn but it isn’t that complicated.
