AP Physics B Non-calculator math on MC

I am currently studying for the AP physics b exam coming up. I find that i have the most trouble with getting through the multiple choice in time because i am slow at doing the non-calculator math. I know that this math should not require a calculator but i happen to suck at stupid math. I can obviously do like 4/2 and 10^2, but when the numbers arent so nice i have trouble. Does anyone have any tips or resources that will help with the basic math skills needed for the multiple choice part of this test.

I’m taking Physics B too.
The way I do with numbers is try to simplify everything before multiplying
If its in a decimal form, changing it into a factor form may help (for example there was this question where the answer was (1/1.5)^2 change it into factor form. 1.5 = 3/2, so 1/1.5 = 2/3, so 4/9)

what about with scientific notation things

do the numbers in front of the tenth powers first, and calculate the tenth powers separately, then add or subtract if necessary. sry for the late post
