AP Physics B test..to take or not?

I’m currently a junior taking AP Physics B. I regret this decision because I realized that I don’t enjoy physics at all. Anyways, the content of the class is hard, but it is extremely easy to maintain an A in the class b/c my teacher gives back points in basically everything. I was wondering, does it look better to not take the test or to take the test and fail? There’s a big chance I will end up getting a 2 on the test (considering my strength in physics and the general pass rate/difficulty of the test itself). To colleges, would it look better if I ended with an A in the course but no test, or end with an A in the course but fail the AP test? Either option is probably not too good, but I would like to know which one is better. Thanks!

You don’t have to have any scores sent to the colleges. It is therefore the same thing from the college standpoint but your high school may require the tests. Looks bad for them for you to get a 2 though. Another interesting possibility is to self study before the test and get a 5.
