AP Physics B: Transcriptify or not?

So I took AP Physics B online since our school does not offer the course. The curriculum they provided was very poor, so I'll only finish out somewhere between a B, B+
B's are scored as a 3.86, at our school I believe.

My current GPA is 3.988. Our school doesn't weight GPA at all. My counselor has given me the option of not having the Physics course show up at all on my transcript. I took our schools only physics course already and got an A both terms.

Is it worth it to get the credit for the course and have my GPA lowered? I still plan on self-studying the remainder of the course and taking the test... I would get credit for one semester, not both.

Thanks for the input, homies!

Depends:
What grade are you in?
What schools are you applying to?
Are you taking the AP test?

Okay firstly I am a junior
I’m applying to Northwestern HPME, Brown PLME and regular admissions for both colleges. Madison University, St. Louis, Wash U, that caliber. Possibly Harvard as well.

I’m going for pre-med/possibly med scholar if I can get in.

I do want to take the AP test, but I have no idea how well I’ll do. The course is called ‘wisconsin virtual school’ and a few local districts use it. Our school sponsored the course, so I guess yes, it is part of the district.

Brown PLME is extremely selective…
I would’ve said keep the physics if that hadn’t been your first choice. You need to be pretty spotless for that PLME. I don’t know if you could possible take an SAT II in Physics to balance it out? That would make you look a lot better.
