<p>I think top schools either disregard APB or they place less value on APB compared to APC. And no it might or might not have a first-yr physics course for premeds. Yale, for example, has a General Physics course that is not specifically designed for engineers but it does not give credit for APB. Other schools will give higher placement for those who have taken APC, but if you're premed you probably don't need it.</p>
