AP Physics B

Im a junior in highschool with average grades. Im in Alg 2 with all A's and in regular physics with a low B average. They wouldnt let me take algebra 2 over last summer, which is why I am in it right now. I want to be an engineering major, and physics seems really interesting, although my "B" average doesn't make it seem like it.

Do you guys think I will do good in AP Physics B next year considering I will be in pre-calc next year?

bumpppppppppp

You only need some basic algebra and trig. The hard part is not the math, but rather understanding the concepts and applying them to new problems.

even if I have a low B in regular physics, do you think i can handle it?

bumpppppppppppppp

well, it will be tough, im in precalc right now and am trying for AP next year too. a low B in regular physics doesn’t look to good. I got a high A in Physics CP and my teacher told me id still need some work before AP

If you are interested in physics, you can probably do well in the class.

Spend some of your summer exploring math and physics online. Here are just a few free options:

coursera
khan academy
undacity
mit open course ware

Listen to audio books (maybe you can get them from your local library) on physic’s topics.

Good luck!
