i am a senior and i am taking the ap physics B exam. i was wondering if someone can tell me a site where i can download good lecture notes and past AP exams (if available). Thanks

i found some nice sites because i am interested in self-studying phys B....
these are nice and easy to follow: http://www.school-for-champions.com/science.htm#Physics
these are easy too:
http://www.studyphysics.ca/index_files/page0002.html
and this one has some very nice explained demonstrations:
http://www.physicsclassroom.com/mmedia/circmot/rht.html
this site has links to millions of notes: http://apphysicsb.homestead.com/index.html

i look for notes that are not overly technical and easy and enjoyable to follow. so if you're like me, you'll like these, otherwise, the last site also has links to more technical notes.

hey thanx for those websites. they are pretty good.

no problem. i wonder, are you taking a class or self-studying? do you know whether phys B has a reputation for being a harder test to study for, or is it about the equivalent to bio, or easier/harder?

well i am taking the class for physics B and i will be self studying Physics C. Physics B is easiest of physics choices. But i think it depends on the person. physics B is broader . It deals with a wide variety of subjects as opposed to physics C, which deals with mechanics and electricity. Physics will be harder than bio.Good Luck!

ontolome, I decided to self study physics B. What textbook do you use? I got giancoli, but I don't know which chapters to study for the AP/SAT II physics.

Edit: I found on one of your links a syllabus using Giancoli. Is this a good syllabus? http://apphysicsb.homestead.com/apsyllabus.html

or this: http://apphysicsb.homestead.com/giancoli.html

if i were to self study, i would not use a textbook, rather a review book. i find they break it down in a way that i can readily grasp it. that's all i ever did for other APs, and it worked every time.

ashernm, if u are preparing for SATII physics then it is better to buy princeton review and study that rather than reading a textbook. cuz textbook has a lot of unwanted stuff that is not even tested in SATII

SAT II physics is a possibility, but not for sure, because I got a 740 on chem. I also intend to take physics B but may end up flaking out on it.
