<p>In calculus and calc based physics textbooks, does anyone try the challenge problems, or in the case of calculus the higher number problems where you have to prove theorems, etc. I'm just curious to know if i'm the only one that does. btw, I think they are a frickin' headache to attempt.</p>
<p>i did for a bit until i figured AP test is far toned down and it wud b a “waste of time” as far as getting a 5 goes</p>
<p>It is hardly a waste of time in regards to getting a 5. The material may not be directly tested, but proving theorems you learn really strengthens your understanding, so if you see a problem you’ve never seen before, you can still solve it.</p>
