AP Physics C but Physics SAT II is different?!

So I recently heard from a friend that the Physics SAT II is COMPLETELY different from the AP Physics C course.

This really concerns me now because I was gonna take Physics SATII right after taking the Physics C course.

Is the best course of action to self-study Physics SAT (over the summer and during the school year) or just not take it at all?

That’s true. The Physics Subject Test is much more similar to AP Physics B. You probably shouldn’t try to self-study the rest of Physics B (i.e. what’s on the Subject Test) unless you have a solid background in physics.
