AP Physics C Junior Year?

Hello everyone, I was debating whether I should attempt to skip AP Physics 1 at my school in order to take AP Physics C Mechanics during my Junior year next year. I am currently a sophomore taking BC Calculus and I will need to attend my local community college to take my senior year math class. Because of this, I have the chance of taking AP Physics C Electricity and Magnetism at the same time. I was wondering what everyone thinks about this, pros and cons, and how colleges will view this move?

Thanks in advance.

Is Physics 1 a pre-req for C at your school?
You’re evidently quite strong in math-- I’d say go for it. I’m a sophomore in Calc BC and both Physics C’s this year, and a strong math background is way more essential for C than previous physics knowledge.
Colleges will see that you’re taking a rigorous courseload. In general, there’s not an emphasis on when you take a course than that you take it.

Go ahead and take physics c - that’s what I’m doing this year and I’m not very good at science but I’m doing fine and have a b+/a- average.
