I really want to take both AP Physics C exams next year and I will soon have a good grasp of AP Calculus AB. Could I take AP Physics C with solely knowledge of AP Calculus AB or is BC also required? If the latter, could I learn AP Calc BC at the same time as I learn Physics C?

I took AP Physics C and AP Calc BC concurrently without having taken AP Calc AB (which was the norm at my school, so the majority of my class had done the same). I got 5s on both AP Physics C tests and AP Calc BC, so it is possible. I would think you should be fine math-wise, since you already have some calculus background. I took it with no calc background and did all right. It was harder, but it’s possible.

addition, subtraction, multiplication, integral and differential calc

you don’t need BC for physics c

Calculus AB is enough.

Yep, Calculus AB is enough, though Calculus BC does help (example: you’ll need integration by trigonometric substitution at some point in E&M if you don’t memorize an integral or two).

I don’t think you need trigonmetric subsitution for the AP Physics C exam. Maybe for the class, but not necessarily the exam. I may be wrong though.
