AP Physics C: Mechanics

I am currently a freshman and will be a sophomore next year. I was wondering how hard AP Physics would be.
I am currently in algebra II and will be in precalculus with trig next year, and do happen to qualify for the class.
However, would it be difficult for the level of math I am in? I am not all that interested in engineering either.

It will be somewhat difficult- usually people take AP Calc with it

You’ll need basic calculus, at least.

AP Physics C requires knowledge of calculus. It’s probably at least a co-requisite at your school if you look closely at the course book.

However Honors Physics or AP Physics I & II (they’re the same thing basically) is algebra-based physics, and you can take that now.
