So it's time to plan our schedules again, and I'm still confused as to which science to take junior year. It's between AP Physics C and AP Enviro, so I'd really appreciate any input or advice!

My two options are:

Junior Year

Choice. A:

AP Lang
AP US History
AP Calc BC
AP Physics C
Honors Physiology
Honors Spanish 3

Choice B:

AP Lang
AP US History
AP Calc BC
AP Enviro
Honors Physics
Honors Spanish 3

Well, it depends on a variety of factors. First off, what do you intend on majoring in once you get to college? Second, how strong are you in math (or, what are your academic interests)? And thirdly, do you have proper time management skills? All I know is that AP Physics C is quite a bit more difficult and comprehensive than AP Environmental is - the two are actually opposite ends of the spectrum in terms of difficulty and pace.

I’m in AP Environmental as a Junior, and I find it very interesting as well as very easy - I enjoy it as a course and I like my teacher. I’m also not the strongest math student, so the option of actually taking Physics never really crossed my mind.

I would do Choice B and then take AP Physics C since you are going to have more physics skills by the time you get to AP Physics C. But If you are really good at math then go for AP Physics C!
