AP Physics C prep books

Can some people please recommend some prep books for the AP Physics C test? Ex. Barron's over Princeton Review, etc.

Some publishers are better with some sciences than with others. I need to know which one is best for physics.

Thanks!

..... just use that "search " button
btw, PR works well

I tried searching and couldn't narrow anything down.

Thanks for the recommendation. Anyone else?

PR is both Physics B & C and can be a bit confusing. The only Physics C review book that we have found is the Barron's Physics C. My son has made no comments on it yet . . . we just got it.

If anyone comes across any review SW please post a reference to it. Thanks.

I did also hear that PR has poor organization but when it comes to the test, it's the content that matters. If Barron's has poor content, I'll deal with the confusion of PR. :(

Barron's doesn't have poor content. They're just harder in basically every subject. Kaplan's and PR seems more true to test although they all have their own flaws, of course.

Personally, I'd rather have true-to-test content than harder stuff. Why overstudy, especially if you don't have the time or energy to do it? (which you probably won't by the end of the year especially if you've got other AP tests to stress about)

For my AP Physics C class, my teacher required us to go out and buy the Schaum's Outline of Physics for Engineering and Science. It's really good for application problems. It's not exactly a prep book; no diagnostic tests, but it's a good book and I'd strongly recommend it.

I decided to self-study for Physics C throughout the year... shooting for a 5. Last year i tried to cram physics B in a month with barrons and got a 3. I'm thinking that since barrons has much more material than PR, it'd be better to study with.... but then again I don't wanna waste time on stuff i don't need... think I should just stick with PR?

I'm not too sure. It is better to be over-prepared for the AP test than be under-prepared, but we don't know if it's actually useful extra material. That's why I need more recommendations. :P
