**AP Physics C Thread 2018-2019**

Hey everyone! I saw a few threads for science APs from past years and I figured since AP Physics is a struggle (at least, for me), I may as well make one for it. I’m a junior and my class is meant to cover Mechanics and E&M, but apparently we won’t get through all of E&M due to timing so that should be a fun exam in May… I’ll probably have to self study a portion of it :/. Honestly, I like physics to an extent, but sometimes the test questions kill me.

ANYWAYS- I figured we could all just talk about the class here and whatever. If anyone took the class last year and wants to throw tips our way that’d be great too.

Yes, even though the class is calculus based, you don’t even need to be amazing at calculus so don’t be worried about that

reviving the thread for the upcoming AP tests.

What are the best review books/material for AP Physics C Mechanics and for Electricity & Magnetism - any suggestions/tips for effective review in 4 weeks please share.

lol thanks for reviving the thread that was never alive- I’m taking Mechanics in May, decided to push E&M to next year since my class isn’t going to finish in time for the exam. So, while I don’t have any tips for E&M, here’s what I have for Mechanics:

  1. AP Physics C Companion by Dan Fullerton. I’ve used this book a few times and it is really good at reviewing all of the mechanics material. I’ve gone through multiple chapters in a day easily, so it should definitely help for review.

  2. Literally, do as many free-response questions as possible. The multiple choice are pretty okay, but these you will probably need to practice (or, at least, I do haha). If you do a lot of them, you should be good for May.
