I took H. Chem this year as a soph and I plan to take AP Chem next year. However, our awesome AP Chem teacher won’t be able to teach next year; therefore, we will have an awful chem teacher to teach AP Chem for us instead. This is really not gonna be fun
Hence, there is another idea lingering in my mind which is to take AP physics C instead of AP Chem. As far as I know that our AP Physics teacher is super duper good :)…
Yep, what do you guys think? Should I just take AP Physics then?
P.S I’ve already learned stuff that they teach in regular Physics; we only have regular physics and AP physics C at our school.

i found physics C to be immensely more difficult than chemistry

Physics will be much easier for you because of the disparity in teacher quality.

Personally, I had a super-good Chem teacher and a mediocre Physics teacher and both were equally easy/hard for me.

Ap physics is challenging for some. Good teachers help but you’ve been warned

I was in this same situation and decided to take BOTH.

Don’t do this.
Take Physics C.

Just do Physics C. Honestly, it’s already easier than AP Chem (Less material to cover at least…), and with a good teacher, you’re not gonna want to kill yourself.

Well, in my opinion, Physics C is definitely easier than Chem, but I thought the AP exam for Physics C was a tad bit harder.
