AP Physics C vs. IB Physics HL

I have started to look into the difference between Phys. HL and Phys. C and many people say that Phys. C is a much more rigorous course. I would like to do something in the field of Bio/Medical Engineering, and therefor take a challenging Physics class. I will take Maths HL next year and will have to take Chem SL as well. I am currently taking AP Phys. 1 and will need to make the decision whether to take BIO HL and AP Phys. C in addition to all my IB Classes, or just take Phys HL. Are there any suggestions on which Physics class is more rigorous, and which one to take next year.

AP Physics C is calculus based IB Physics is not, so AP is more rigorous. That is the only thing I really don’t like about IB compared to AP.

Additionally, because IB physics is not calculus based many colleges won’t give you credit for it. However you will generally get credit for a high score on the AP Physics C tests.
