I am self-studying AP Physics C both parts in one year. I'm only using the barron's physics c book. My school does not offer c so I am self studying. My questions are: Has anybody taken both tests in one year? Did you self study? Is it possible to get 5s on both exams in the same year? What can I expect on the exam? Is what I'm trying to do reasonable or the opposite? Please help, my physics teacher won't help me in school, so I would really appreciate answers to these questions. Without advice, I am all alone, with no direction! Thanks.

1.) a lot of people take both exams in one year
2.) i did self-study
3.) yes, it's always possible. i got both 5's.
4.) ~30 multiple-choice and 3 free response in each test/ each test takes 1.5 hours- the test is on average difficult, but hte curve is very generous
5.) it depends on how much work you want to put into. if you don't want to study, it's definitely unreasonable, but if you take the time to study the material and ALL of it, you'll do fine.

you need to be very proficient in calculus
