AP Physics C

So I'm planning on doing MCB at the College of Letter's and Sciences. Is the AP Physics C worth taking? It say's on their handbook here (<a href="http://mcb.berkeley.edu/undergrad/images/stories/forms/handbook/MCBhandbook_12_13.pdf%5B/url%5D">http://mcb.berkeley.edu/undergrad/images/stories/forms/handbook/MCBhandbook_12_13.pdf</a>) that the Physics requirements can't be waived, and for Berkeley's requirements, it say's here (Office of Undergraduate Advising: 7 Course Breadth) that the 7-Course Breadth Requirements can't be waived with any AP scores either. Thanks for any help!

Yeah, Physics C will only get you elective units, so there’s not much point taking it…but if you’ve already paid for it, you might as well take it?

You could also try to pass out of intro Physics by taking the finals, for which Physics C might prepare you…

My school lets me get a refund for all but $13 from the $89 originally paid for each test, so I’m still weighing my options. I’m pretty sure I’m screwed for E&M, but Mechanics should be 3 or above. And how does passing intro Physics with the finals work?
