Ive signed up to do Distance Learning AP Physics C next year but i was wondering what I should do to prepare for it.

Ive never taken a High school physics class but I just finished AP Chemistry with an A....

Im also gonna take AP Calculus AB next year....i was wondering, does Physics C require a prerequisite of Calculus or a corequisite? How much calculus is involved?

You need to know calculus to do it. I'd say it's more of a corequisite though, since there isn't TOO much calculus. It is very math intensive however.

Should you have physics before it though?

Unless you want to suffer.

I'd say calc is a corequisite. That's how it is at my school at least. But she did have to teach us AB guys integrals during the first week of school, because you use them a good amount. You can take AP Physics without prior physics classes, but good luck with that.

is taking AP Physics C without a prior Physics class as bad as taking AP Chemistry without a prior Chem class?

Yes it is, if not worse. Physics B is bad enough without physics, so physics C might be not be so pretty.
