I’m currently a Sophomore, and today my school announced that Physics 1 and 2 will be replaced with Physics C Mechanics, and Physics C Electricity and Magnetism next year. I can’t ask anyone from my school how Physics C is because we have never had a Physics C class.
Which is harder? Mechanics or Electricity/Magnetism?
Probably depends on the person. Personally, I felt that E&M was by far the hardest class that I ever had.
In case you are not aware, you need calculus for Physics C.
@skieurope Yes, I am aware that Physics C is Calculus based. This won’t be a problem since I am taking AP Calculus AB this year.
yeah e&m is by far harder both mathematically and conceptually. although it might be easier then mechanics, because you will be used to college level physics if you take mech first. its posssible to get a 5 on mech without even knowing calculus. with em applying the calculus is a lot harder then doing a calc problem in ap calc, so em will be the hardest class for you math wise also.
