AP Physics Necessary for My Future?

My mother would like me to major in biomedical engineering in college (because there are a bunch of options I would have), but as of now, I'm really interested in neuroscience, cognitive sciences, and economics (slightly random combo, I know). In my ideal world, I would go on to medical school and become a neurologist or something along those lines.

Assuming I want to major in something sciency (most likely neuroscience or biomedical engineering) in college, then possibly (key word!) go on to medical school, is AP Physics that important? I know that physics is the basis for all science, yaddyee yadda, but will it really help me in college? Or would I be okay in college without it? (My alternative would be to take AP Chem). Any thoughts are appreciated!

Yes, AP Physics will help you if you going into any medical engineering. Well, you’re going to have to retake college physics, but at least you will have a much better understanding.

So I should take AP Physics instead of AP Chem? Or do you think AP Chem would help me more?

take both, i heard that you take both subjects when you take the MCAT and such?
Chem will help you more though…
