Physics is hell vs. Calculus, especially with a horrible teacher. Thankfully, I have a great Calc teacher.

Pshh, I don’t know what you guys are talking about. Physics and calc happen to be my two favorite subjects.

I’m taking Physics C and took Calc BC last year. Physics is much, much harder than calc was.

I’m currently taking AP Calc AB and AP Physics B and I’d say they’re the same level of difficulty. I sure as hell study the same amount for both classes. I did do better on my Calc midterm, though, but that could be because my teacher used the AP curve.

Personally, they are my two favorite classes because I love the organization of math in general and I love math-based sciences (I was bad at Bio and Earth Science). Right now Physics doesn’t require much Calc but I know as I advance in college I’m going to need strong Calc skills.

Im currently taking AP Physics B and precalc. Personally, I think that it would be beneficial to take precalc either before coming into AP Physics B or simultaneously. (B is algebra/trig based, while C is calculus based)

From what I have heard from friends who are taking AP Calc and AP Physics right now, physics is the more rigorous class.

Good luck!

Took both last year-liked it so much took physics c. It’s hard, but rewarding!

AP Calculus is way easier for me than AP Physics. I don’t do my Physics hw, but I do my Calc Hw. That might be the reason…
