AP Physics vs AP Chem

I am in the process of creating my schedule for next fall (junior year) and I want to take an extra AP science class (in addition to AP Bio). I want to take either AP Chemistry or AP Physics along with AP Calculus BC. I've already taken honors physics as freshman and I'm currently taking honors chemistry and precalculus.

1) I would prefer to take AP physics C, but I am concerned whether taking AP Physics C concurrently with Calculus BC would be a good idea. Should I take Physics C after completing Calculus or is it OK to take them together?

2) Which AP class (Chem or Physics C) would better prepare me to do well on the corresponding SAT Subject test?

I am planning to study computer engineering in college.

If you were in my school I would highly suggest AP Chem since it’s easier than AP Physics C. Not only that but AP Calc + AP Physics in my school = bloody murder, I don’t want to think what BC Calc can do.

Honestly, I’d ask your peers about whether the teachers for both classes are good. It’s going to depend on the teacher and the rigor that he/she will impose on the students. If I were you though, I’d go AP Chem :P

I’m doing physics and chem (AP). I think it is relatively easy. Also, if you are doing computer engineering do Physics. With ap physics you are pretty much guranteed an 800 on SAT physics.
