Hi, I'm curious as to whether I should take AP Physics or AP World for my senior year in high school. Previously, I took three years of science (Bio H, Chem H, Anatomy and Physiology) and three years of history (World Civ H, APUSH I, APUSH II). Currently, I have AP Biology on my schedule for my senior year, which will add up to four years of science. I am aiming for NYU but they recommend having four years of history. At the same time, my guidance counselor suggested I take AP Physics because colleges in general like to see it. How do I choose? Also, I'm looking to apply to NYU Steinhardt as a nutrition major. How hard is it to be admitted in there? Thank you for any and all your answers in advance!

Bump! Please help.

Try contacting the admissions office and see what they advise.

From the looks of it, I would recommend AP World.

I would recommend AP World, in particular because you already have one AP science (AP bio, which is a better choice for Steinhardt anyway) and because two of your three history classes are APUSH.
