Just curious, sorry if this is a dumb question, but. . .

Is Physics B a prerequisite for the Physics C's, or are they just separate subjects?
Do you have to take B before C, is basically what I'm wondering. . .

thank you
Katia

They are different subjects

B is general physics

C is like detailed in like mag/elec

if u havent taken any physics but your good at advanced math like calc, take C, otherwise if your gonna be like a junior or lower take B first, then C

well it doesn't matter how old you are. my friends & i took it as juniors ... still i must say, quite difficult. and my super smart friend took it as a soph and got nearly a 100% raw score. but then again, he's just really smart.

for C, you can choose to take just mech (which most people do) or just e/m which people say is more difficult. just make sure you know basic calc like integrals & derivatives. it's not too much math.

physics c is more likely to get you credit for the higher tier colleges...
