Can someone tell me the difficulty of AP Physics from a 0 to 10 scale (0 easy to 10 hard)?

Also the level of material like does it require a certain amount of calculas.

At my school its considered the hardest AP Science course..So I would say 9 or 10 I havent taken it!!

The class was hard because my teacher was awful at explaining things.

The test was easy and the curve is huge. I got a 4; I know nothing about physics.

Well when I took it Sophmore year... it was ABSOLUTE HELL!!!!! Probably was and will be the hardest class I have ever taken. I know people who felt just as bad as I did, and others who (for some odd odd reason) thoroughly enjoyed the class and were just natural physics geniuses. So it pretty much depends. If you love math and equations and real life apps. then you'll probably like physics. All I can say is that if you really want to do well and dislike it as much as I did, you're gonna have to work your butt off. I did... and I got a 5 on the AP Exam! So nothing's impossible :-)

Which AP Physics? AP Physics B is rather easy; I got a 5 and my teacher hadn't even started talking about magnetism, atomic physics, or optics (about 30% of the exam! ...although I did study independently). AP Physics C is a little harder, and is calculus-based. However, the curve on the C tests are enormous (45% on Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism equals a 5); so in the end, that it really isn't all that difficult to do well on the C either.

You see Lobgent is one of those natural physics geniuses.... I was not :-P
