Ap Physics

I am in Ap physics B right now w/o any physics history.I am looking for a 3rd subject test outside of math and chemistry. Do you guys think I should take Sat physics in Nov. w/o taking a whole year of it. I might prep for it witha book.

have you taken any AP history classes?

I think SATII physics is pretty tough. My S took it the end of junior year after a full year of physics B. Maybe ask your physics instructor? Yeah, have you considered taking an history SATII instead? My S took AP US History & did well on the SATII exam. Might be easier to self-study that, but why not borrow books on them at your library & see which you do best at without having to study a whole lot more?

How did your son do on the SAT II physics, if you don't mind me asking? I had an intro course last year and didn't learn much, but I'm taking AP Physics C now and hoping I can learn a lot before the December test.

He got a 760, but he's always been a great test-taker. He got an 800 on Math2 but 730 on Math1. It helped him to take the exams when the class was reviewing the material--for Physics, that was spring of junior year when they were reviewing for the AP Physics B exam & in the fall of senior year when the calc class was reviewing pre-calc (as was physics C) in preparation for calc & physics c. He hadn't covered anything from physics c by the time he took the exam, but his teacher was awesome & has been teaching ap physics for about 30 years.

I took Honors US History last year and the guy who took the Ap out of my class got a 4.

I have had some spanish 3 years but not like real fluent or anything
