AP Prep Books for 2010

<p>Could you guys recommend the best prep books for these courses?</p>

<p>-Calc AB
-US Gov
-Psych
-Physics
-Lit (do I need one?)</p>

<p>Cliffnotes was awesome for AP Bio, I’m sure they’re decent in other subjects, but maybe a quick google search couldn’t hurt, try answers.com.</p>

<p>US Gov: Princeton Review. =) It was extremely concise yet sufficient. Or DMS Marketing’s book. That was pretty good review actually, a lot of the practice test questions cropped up again.</p>

<p>calculus ab: PR, but the practice exams were too easy. use ds marketing for the practice exams</p>

<p>psychology: barron’s, my friend was self-studying psych, and he said that barron’s is better</p>

<p>For Gov’t, I’d suggest CliffsNotes. The tests aren’t that great, but it does teach you practically everything you need to know.</p>

<p>What do you guys suggest for AP Physics C? I need a book that acts mostly as a study guide rather than a test prep. I want the book to supplement my class and textbook.</p>

ds marketing for tests
-gov: cliffs/PR for prep
ds marketing for tests</p>

<p>oh, for physics, i mean physics B</p>

<p>-Calc AB- Well, I know that for BC the PR is good. But not sure about AB
-US Gov- I used the PR, it helped me b/c I suck at it, but it won’t get you past a 4.
-Psych- Barron’s
-Physics- PR for sure, Barron’s is too difficult and over the top
-Lit (do I need one?)- I don’t think you need a book for this. I took Lang and didn’t even use my review book. But I hear Cliffs is pretty good.</p>
