Ap Psych, Ap Physics C, or AP Stat??

Hey guys, I would really appreciate your help. I’m a rising junior who’s planning on applying to competitive colleges, and I can’t decide if I should take AP Psych, AP Physics C, or AP Stat. Here’s the basics:

AP Psych
I want to be a psychiatrist so isn’t this important to have on my transcript? But the first semester isn’t weighted, so it hurts my GPA.

AP Physics EM and Mech
I have to take both because of my school, I’ve heard it is amazingly, incredibly hard, but I heard it looks great on transcripts. The thing is, our only physics ap teacher scores about a 3 on the teaching scale, and I’m worried about not getting a good score on the exam. I’ve taken calc ab (couldn’t do bc because schedule conflicts, so I’m doing bc this year) and the concepts were pretty easy. I also took pre-ap phys last year, and it was confusing, but not necessarily difficult…does that make sense? Except the magnetism unit was tough on me.

AP Stat
This is an alternative to Psych, which is only weighted 1 semester. I’d like to take AP Phys, but if it’s going to be too hard, I guess I’ll do this instead. However, I was planning on taking this my senior year, so if I take it as a junior, there are no more math classes for me to take at my school. WIll it look bad on my transcript if I don’t take a math class senior year then?

Thanks guys!!! I really appreciate any posts!!

Oh I’m planning on majoring in bio/biochem etc and at least minoring in psych, if not double-majoring in college.

To me it sounds like that the only class that’ll beneficial to your college major/minor is AP Psych. If your school requires AP Physics C then I would just get it over with and take them. AP Psych is also really easy, if you you’re well prepared for physics, take psych at the same time and you should be okay

Both AP Psych and Stats could be beneficial for a biochem major, especially if the college you choose accepts AP credit. It might be wise to get the stats and psych credit and just wait to take physics in college.
