Ap Psych Was So Easy

No, its a district rule. Flip flops pose a grave danger to the students of osceola county. Someone might step on my heel and causing me to fall, setting off weapons of mass destruction that will cause the earth to become a nuclear wasteland.

Oh, of course. It all makes complete sense to me now. Shame on you for wearing flip flops :p

Does anyone know what the multiplers are and roughly what points correspond to what composite score?

Say for example that I answered all of the MC questions and missed 35 of them got a perfect score on the first essay and a 0 for the second essay. What score might I get? Thanks. And sorry if someone has already posted all of this info.

its an 81 according to barrons. That means low 4 high 3 depending on curve,

Barrons says multipliers are 2.780 for each essay.

well...your weighted MC score would probably be 56.25, and you get 1/2 of the essay, so you get 25 pts for free-response, so 25 + 56.25 = 81.25, which is borderline 3-4, but I'm sure you will get atleast 1 pt for part 2, so you should be getting a 4 on the test.

Good luck!

well...each essay is worth 25 pts, and the first essay was worth 9 pts, and the second was worth 8 pts, so technically each pt is more valuable on the second essay.

i messed up on 3 parts of that 2nd essay (or 2, if my bs for the 3rd one is enough to get the point)- anyway i still get like a 16/25 on that essay then.

Thanks. I hope for that one point. Because all I said for the second part was "Oh, I'm out of time! Good luck grading these essay's." But I think I did really really well on the first essay. Anyway I just hope for a three because my teacher said that she expected me to pass and I would hate to dissapoint her. Although I haven't taken psych in over a year. So I will probably get like a 1. Hahahahahaha.

yeah so this test was really a joke... i guess it's because our teacher used real ap tests for his tests with the traditional school grade curve!

I wouldn't say it's easy when I crammed everything in about 7 hours (2 on Sunday, 2 on Monday, 3 on Tuesday) with no psychology background knowledge whatsoever. Judging from how I did though, I know I could have owned the test with a class...Psych is truly an easy AP (unlikeSTATScoughcoughcough). Expecting a 4, however.

Yeah, I know I would have done well with the class.

For the Autonomic one I made something up along the lines of "she doesn't want a car that has a loud horn because loud noises make her jump and twitch". Yeah, probably not getting a point for that one, but I tried....:-D

I went through the entire Barron's (our AP Psych teacher bought one for all 12 or so people in the class - it's mostly an independent study class) Tuesday night and highlighted, but even if I hadn't done that I still probably would have done just as well. Seriously. That test really shouldn't have been so easy for me, I've completely BSd my way through that class all year.

I wrote something along the lines of her literally attacking the salesman (with her muscles - for autonomic system) and stealing the car instead of buying it, thus saving herself the anxiety of purchasing the wrong car.

Is it acceptable essay format for the free responses if I used one paragraph for each term, and each paragraph contained about 4 sentences?

^^Duh, yes.

You could probably get away with devoting as little as one sentence to each term, as long as it was in paragraph format, and the question was answered.

My teacher grades the FR questions. He said that you wouldn't get credit for a bulleted list, but you didn't have to write an essay. He suggested writing it like this:

Advantages
The advantage of an experiment is blahblah...........

Disadvantages
The disadvantage of an experiment is blahblha....

what's the scoring scale? Apparently my Kaplan review book doesn't have one. :(

hey guys what if you only use two long paragraphs for one FR question
I forgot to organize a central thesis with a intro paragraph. I just put a topic sentences and start writing all the things i could think of. IS that ok

^It's fine.

Why doesn't psychology have the normal 10-minute reading period?

If I got about 60-70 of the q's correct, about 15-20 wrong, left 10 blank... did really well on the first essay question, so-so on the 2nd (BS most of it, what the hell were heuristics?), what score can I expect to get?
