AP Psychology Question for Those "In the Know"

Hi!

So I am taking the AP Psych exam this year, but I am self-studying it. I am taking an honors level psychology course, so I am not too worried about the material. However, in my other AP classes teachers are saying, "to get a 5, you should get above 60% right on the multiple choice"...or something like that.

Does anyone know how I should be scoring on the multiple choice (as in percentage) to do well on the psych exam?

That'd be great! Thanks!

McGraw Hill’s 5 Steps to a 5 says that you need a 100-150 to get a 5 (which seems right to me). There are 100 multiple choice questions (100 pts) and 2 FRQs (25 pts each), so to get a 5 with at least 60% on the multiple choice, you really need to crack the FRQs with at least 40 points (80%). The bare minimum is 50% on the MC, with a perfect score on the FRQs. For me, 70s and 80s are good enough for a 5 because the FRQs are generally vague and easy to score points on.
