Post your plan for getting a 5 by self-studying on the AP Pysch exam! Preferably month-by-month. What materials did you use?
Well, how about week by week? My daughter studied in 18 days using 5 steps to a 5, (she got a 5), the official course text book, and Crash Course. She made herself a bunch of flash cards too. She started by making the flash cards. She said that the most overall useful book was Crash Course, but 5 Steps had practice tests. She dipped in and out of the Myers text book too, mostly when she wanted to fully understand a concept.
I don’t recommend her study method, btw. She procrastinated and then literally locked herself in her room for 18 days while getting ready for the test, along with regular schoolwork, and other AP stuff. She emerged with grey hair;-)
Well, how about day by day? I did it in a weekend with Barron’s. Like @lindagaf said, it is not a strategy I would recommend.
@skieurope , ^:)^
Im self-studying too and I plan to make a study group on facebook or whatever to share everything that I have found… In case you would like to join I havent made study plan but I will as soon as I get the prepbooks.
Haha ok
