AP Psychology?

How much biology is involved in it? I hate biology topics such as cells, DNA, evolution, ecology, etc. I don't mind molecular biology or human anatomy however. Also do colleges want to see another science class with AP Psych or would AP Psych be sufficient as the sole science?

I personally am in dual enrollment psychology (so it is a little different), but we use the same book as the AP psych class at my school, so my answer should be accurate…

There is some science, most of it is anatomy based. There will be a unit/chapter devoted to neuroanatomy and some basic science stuff on the senses (I remember there was a chapter on sight/the eye). There will also be material on information processing, neurons and those types of things. Really it is not bad at all. Though AP Psych is not regarded as a science, colleges will view it as a social studies or an elective. If you are applying to schools that require (or want) a certain number of years in science you will need to take a science class with AP Psych.
