AP Psychology

I am currently self studying AP Psychology from Barron's. Is Barron's enough to help me get possibly a 5 or 4? What else should i use? Your inputs would really help me out.

barrons is good enough ... i got a 5 ... i too ap psych in school sophomore but my teacher was really bad because it was his first year teaching it and he had no idea what he was doing ... we didnt learn half the stuff ... well i used the barrons review book and i just spent one whole day reading the whole thing and i got a 5

if u use barron's for AP Psych, you are guarenteed a 5 if you understand everything.

laughs, i never took the class, but every single thing on the test was straight out of barron's and i'm sure i aced it. Barron's alone +nothing else is perfect for self-study. guaranteed 5.

any AP book barron's made guarentees you 5's. im dead serious. if i can self study AP World History and get a 5...yea...

So is it useless to pay for an online course to learn this? What about the most common textbook used?

Barron's AP US History sucks so much. REA is the best. And for AP Bio, cliff's is the best, I don't think Barron's would do as good as a job. I actually haven't ever seen the Barron's AP book for bio. So it kinda matters what book you use

I knew most of the psychology questions on the AP exam just from reading Barron's. did not do so well on one of the free responses (had to make up definitoins for terms I dont know). They might have been in the barrons but I just 4got what they were (I have a bad memory).

Barron's is kinda a hit or miss thing. some books are atrocious (chemistry) and some are just phenomenal (Comp Sci, Psych, and Statistics). I took the 1999 released exam and got like 80% or something. I kinda guessed a bit but the Barrons book gave me enough knowledge that my educated guesses were good ( a rare thing for me)

don't take the class online, especially if you're aim is to gather enough knowledge to pass the exam (Barron's is your best source for that)

P.S. If your memory sucks liek mine, read all the chapters in barrons, do all the chapter questions, and take a practice exam(s). quite good.

Is Barron's enough to get me a 5 on the AP Psych if I currently don't know anything about psychology?

thats what im gonna do. ahah

What about the Myers Psychology book?
